Jan Derck van Karnebeek: "I am honored to become the new CEO of FrieslandCampina. What attracts me enormously about FrieslandCampina is that it is a modern consumer products company - with passionate employees, nutritious products and ingredients and strong consumer and B2B brands marketed in more than 100 countries - and combines that with the rich history and no-nonsense, hands-on mentality of the cooperative. FrieslandCampina's member dairy farmers were "purpose-driven" before the word existed at all, and have always demonstrated that they take the changing needs and expectations of consumers and society to heart while at the same time carefully caring for their animals, land and farm as good stewards for the next generation. I look forward to continuing to work with the employees and member dairy farmers of FrieslandCampina to grow and future-proof this fine company and cooperative."
