Alexandra van Huffelen appointed new Chair of the Executive Board of Radboud University
12-11-2024 Radboud University has announced that Alexandra van Huffelen will become the new Chair of the Executive Board starting February 2025.
Radboud University has announced that Alexandra van Huffelen will become the new Chair of the Executive Board starting February 2025. Together with rector José Sanders and Vice-Chair Agnes Muskens, she will form the board, marking the first time in the university's history that the board will be entirely composed of women.
Van Huffelen has an extensive background in the public sector and previously held various leadership roles, including CEO of GVB, alderman in Rotterdam, senator, and state secretary. She brings significant experience in managing large, complex organizations, as well as a broad network in The Hague and Europe. She studied public administration at Leiden University and Erasmus University, and also gained international experience in Denmark.
Van Huffelen is eager to start her work at Radboud University and contribute to strengthening the university's societal impact.
