Derk Doijer new Supervisory Chair B&S
20-12-2022 B&S announced on December 19 that Derk Doijer has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board with immediate effect.
Derk Doijer has been appointed as independent Supervisory Director and as Chairman of the board. B&S will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting in due course to confirm the appointment. He succeeds Jan Arie van Barneveld, who was dismissed as independent Chairman of the Supervisory Board on December 15. Doijer has been appointed until the Annual General Meeting to be held in 2026.
Doijer has supervisory experience through his Supervisory Directorships at Ahold, Corio and Lucas Bols. In the past he held senior positions with Makro, and was a member of the Executive Board of Directors of of SHV Holdings.
