Françoise Poggi new Chief Operating Officer Fastned
18-07-2024 Fastned has announced that Françoise Poggi will be appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Françoise Poggi, who previously led Tesla's European supply chain, will join Fastned's executive board alongside CEO Michiel Langezaal and CFO Victor van Dijk.
At Tesla, Françoise Poggi was responsible for establishing and expanding the supply chain in Europe, as well as resolving bottlenecks to drive growth. Within Fastned, she will oversee and coordinate the construction management, station design and station operations teams.
Françoise Poggi: “During my career of more than 20 years in operations and supply chain, I have led major transformations including the last 7 years at Tesla, where I focused on supporting the growth of the supply chain for charging, energy infrastructure and car aftersales for Europe, Middle East and Africa. At Fastned, I want to share my experience in building at high speed and developing an agile organization that is successful in a very dynamic environment. I believe Fastned's current organizational culture, which focuses on collaboration and positive energy, is essential for further scaling the business. As such, I am delighted to have been asked to lead this fantastic organization.”
CEO Michiel Langezaal: “We are very pleased that Françoise is joining our team. She attaches great importance to our mission and her French nationality makes our board more international, as you would expect from one of Europe's largest loading companies. She brings with her a mountain of experience on operational topics that will help us further accelerate and continue to deliver our award-winning customer experience on a European scale.
The official appointment of Françoise Poggi as a member of the executive board is expected in the second half of 2024, for which an extraordinary shareholders' meeting will be organized.
