Ajax-chair Leen Meijaard Resigns
14-11-2022 Leen Meijaard will resign from his position as chairman of the supervisory board of Ajax at the end of next year. He announced this during the general meeting of shareholders on 11 November.
Leen Meijaard has been a supervisory director of Ajax since 2016 and was appointed chairman of the supervisory board in 2018. He announced at the general meeting of shareholders that he does not intend to stand for a third term. His current term runs until the November 2023 shareholders' meeting.
No successor has been announced yet. Currently, the supervisory board of Ajax consists of the following members: Leen Meijaard (chairman), Annette Mosman, Peter Mensing, Georgette Schlick and Cees van Oevelen.
