Michel van Maanen new COO of Ebusco
19-12-2024 Ebusco has announced plans to eliminate several roles as part of its so-called 'Turnaround Plan.' As part of the restructuring, the company intends to appoint Michel van Maanen as the successor to COO Roald Dogge.
In the new company structure, the Chief Operating Officer will have full responsibility for the core processes of the organization, from bus sales and production to aftersales. According to Ebusco, this new role requires different skills. As a result, the decision has been made to part ways with the current COO, Roald Dogge, who will retire at the end of this year. The company sees Michel van Maanen, currently Transformation Director, as the right candidate to fill this position.
Ebusco will soon convene an Extraordinary General Meeting to seek formal approval for Van Maanen's appointment.
As part of the restructuring, Ebusco will also dissolve the Executive Committee entirely, eliminating the roles of Chief Technology Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer. Following the restructuring, the company will be directly managed by the Management Board.
