New management board MN

New management board MN

26-06-2024 MN has announced its new top structure. The board will be formed by Fleur Rieter (photo) and Martijn Scholten.

MN's new management board is a consequence of MN continuing to exist independently as a fiduciary asset manager, following the separation of pension management to PGGM on 1 July.

The new management will consist of a statutory executive board, consisting of Fleur Rieter and Martijn Scholten as co-chairs, and three other members.

Fleur Rieter has been Chief Financial & Risk Officer at MN since 2019. She previously worked at a.s.r, most recently as Director of Pensions and in that position as a member of the supervisory board of Brand New Day.

Martijn Scholten has worked at MN in various positions since 2003. Since 2019, he has been Director of Asset Management on MN's current executive committee.

The management board is supplemented by Gerco Goote who, together with a member of the board yet to be appointed, will manage the fiduciary asset management portfolio. Robil Gergin has also been appointed Director of Operations/IT.

With the separation of pension management, MN will also bid farewell to the current executive committee on 1 July. Ralf Rikze (Director of Pensions) is leaving the pension sector and Toine Straathof ( Director of Information Provision) will remain on board with PGGM for a short time to supervise the transition of IT services related to pension management. Hans Brans ( Director of Asset Management) has chosen not to be part of the new board and is leaving MN after 15 years of service.

Frits van Bruggen, the current CEO, will remain with MN until mid-July to transfer ongoing files.
