George Tokaya Wins Young Captain Award 2024

George Tokaya, Commercial Director at Philips, has been named Young Captain 2024. The award ceremony took place at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, where he received the award from Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Beljaarts.
The jury praised Tokaya for his knowledge of business strategy, international experience, and ability to connect employees and customers. Tokaya is seen as a suitable candidate for future board positions due to his leadership and vision.
In addition to Tokaya, there were finalist positions for Siri Mauer from ABN AMRO Bank and Steffen Brenninkmeyer from KPN. Tokaya will participate in a networking and training program at Nyenrode Business University and join the Young Captain alumni network.
