Giny Boer new Supervisory Director NS Group
02-10-2024 NS Group has announced that Giny Boer has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board.
Giny Boer was appointed by the shareholder, the Ministry of Finance, as NS Group's supervisory board member effective October 1. She succeeds Marike van Lier Lels, whose second term ended this year.
Giny Boer was until recently CEO Europe at C&A and worked for a long time at IKEA in various managerial and international roles. She is also currently a Supervisory Director at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and BrewDog.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Herman Dijkhuizen said, “With Giny Boer we get an experienced director on board with extensive knowledge of complex logistics organizations and managing large retail companies. Because of this extensive experience Boer is not only a valuable asset to the Supervisory Board but also an excellent sparring partner for the Executive Board.”
