Hans Kamps new Supervisory Board member IHC
10-05-2023 Hans Kamps, former CFO of Boskalis, was immediately appointed to the Supervisory Board of shipbuilder Royal IHC on April 26. This follows a notification to the Chamber of Commerce.
Hans Kamps joined Boskalis in 1986 and served as CFO and member of the Executive Board from 2006 to 2019. Kamps was appointed on the recommendation of the IHC Continuity Foundation and with the consent of the works council.
IHC was saved from bankruptcy as recently as April, for the second time in three years. Part of this rescue plan was the sale of the profitable subsidiary IQIP to HAL. This significantly reduced the debt burden. Since then, the composition of the Supervisory Board has changed. Chair Menno Snel and Boudewijn Wentink stepped down from the Supervisory Board. HAL Director Gerben van de Rozenberg was appointed early this year as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board and now Boskalis veteran Hans Kamps joins the Supervisory Board.
