Jesus Echevarria new COO of Randstad

14-10-2024 Jesus Echevarria will be appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of Randstad, effective January 1, 2025. He will succeed Chris Heutink, who will step down after three decades of service.

Echevarria has been with Randstad for over twenty years, holding various positions. He has served as Operational Director and CEO of Randstad Spain. Currently, he is Chief Client & Delivery Officer at Randstad in Amsterdam.

The current COO, Chris Heutink, will officially step down from the Executive Board during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 26, 2025. On the same day, a vote will be held on the nomination of Echevarria as a member of the Executive Board.

Heutink will leave Randstad at the end of 2025. Before that, he will work as a strategic advisor to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Echevarria.

Sander van 't Noordende, CEO, commented on Echevarria's appointment: ‘For more than 20 years Jesus Echevarria has demonstrated an exceptional focus on operational excellence and always puts talent and client needs first. I am convinced that through his leadership we will accelerate the implementation of our Partner for Talent strategy.’
