Marguerite Bérard new ceo of ABN AMRO

13-01-2025 Marguerite Bérard has been nominated as the new CEO of ABN AMRO. Her appointment is scheduled to take effect on April 25, 2025, subject to approval by the supervisory directors.

Marguerite Bérard brings extensive experience in the financial sector. She headed the French division for commercial and personal banking at BNP Paribas and was a member of the Executive Committee from January 2019 to March 2024. In this role, she was responsible for corporate, private, and retail banking. Previously, from 2016 to 2018, she was a member of the Management Board at BPCE Group. In this role, she was responsible for finance, strategy, legal affairs, and compliance.

After obtaining approval from the supervisory directors, Bérard will be presented to the General Meeting of Shareholders of ABN AMRO on April 23, 2025.
