New Chair of Nyenrode Business University

New Chair of Nyenrode Business University

16-01-2025 As of February 1, 2025, Micky Adriaansens will assume the position of Chair at Nyenrode Business University. She will succeed Koen Becking, who stepped down on October 1, 2024.

From 2022 to 2024, Adriaansens served as the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in the Rutte IV Cabinet. Prior to that, she held various positions, including member of the Dutch Senate, Managing Director of consultancy firm Twynstra Gudde and Supervisory Board member at InsingerGilissen, Amsta and GGNet.

Petri Hofsté, Chair of the Nyenrode Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm about Adriaansens’ appointment: 'With her extensive experience in consulting, business, and the public and political domains, she will significantly boost Nyenrode's strategy and its collaboration with the business community in the current context of geopolitical, sustainability, and transformative technological developments.'

With Adriaansens’ appointment, the Management Board of Nyenrode Business University is once again complete. The board also includes Jolanda Lamse-Minderhoud (CFO and Vice Chair) and Barbara Majoor (Rector Magnificus).
