Saskia Hoskens new CRO de Volksbank
03-04-2024 De Volksbank has announced the appointment of Saskia Hoskens as its new Chief Risk Officer.
Saskia Hoskens has been Chief Risk Officer Wholesale Banking at ING since 2022. She previously worked at Rabobank from 2005, including as CEO of subsidiary FGH Bank. She also worked at Nuon and Deloitte.
Saskia Hoskens was appointed by the shareholder NLFI. The works council has advised and supports the appointment. She will start in her new position on April 10; her appointment term runs up to and including the general meeting of shareholders in 2028.
Hoskens succeeds Jeroen Dijst who, as previously announced, is stepping down from the Volksbank after two terms as Chief Risk Officer.
Supervisory Chair Gerard van Olphen said, "The Supervisory Board is pleased with the appointment of Saskia Hoskens as CRO and member of the executive committee of de Volksbank. With her extensive experience in the banking sector, she has successfully completed major change projects. With her decisive leadership, she has what it takes to make a valuable contribution to making de Volksbank further financially and operationally robust."
Volksbank also announces good progress in the recruitment and selection process for the positions of CEO and CFCO. The bank expects to announce the appointment of a new CEO after the general meeting of shareholders held mid May.
