Tom Adams new Chief Technology Officer Adyen
28-08-2024 Adyen has announced Tom Adams will join Adyen as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Adams comes from the company Cash App, a subsidiary of Block, where he held various positions for six years. He started as an engineering manager, later became head of product engineering and spent his last four years as head of engineering at the company.
Adams will be succeeding Alexander Matthey, who will conclude his tenure later this year. His appointment has been approved by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) and is subject to approval by shareholders at an upcoming EGM. An invitation to this will be sent out soon.
As CTO, Adams will be responsible for the strategic and technological vision of Adyen’s platform, which includes payments, data, and financial products.
