Angelique Magielse new Finance Director NS
04-09-2023 NS Group announced on 1 September that Angelique Magielse will be appointed Finance Director and member of the Executive Board with effect from 1 March 2024.
In her new position as Finance Director, Angelique Magielse succeeds Bert Groenewegen, who has announced his intention to step down after almost eight years in the position. He will induct Magielse in the coming months.
Magielse started her career at KPMG, after which she held various positions within NS. Since 2016, she has been a member of the board of NS subsidiary Abellio. Abellio's activities will remain part of her portfolio as a member of the board.
Herman Dijkhuizen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, states: "I am delighted that we as NS can appoint Angelique Magielse as a member of the Management Board from our own ranks. Angelique Magielse is an excellent professional with relevant experience, who also proved herself at NS subsidiary Abellio at difficult times. In doing so, she looks beyond the financial aspects and, as a director, has an eye precisely for NS' social impact."
