Han Busker New Supervisory Board Member PGGM
29-09-2023 PGGM has announced that Han Busker will join its supervisory board as of October 1.
Han Busker was chairman of the executive board of FNV from 2017 to 2021. In that role, he was closely involved in the negotiations between the government, trade unions and employers that led to an agreement to reform the pension system, among other things. After his FNV presidency, he became a strategic advisor at CAOP, the knowledge center for labor market issues; a position he still holds. In the past, he has also served as president of the Dutch Police Federation and Marecheus Society Marver.
He joins the supervisory board on Oct. 1 for a four-year term. Among other things, he will become a member of the M&O committee within the supervisory board.
Busker succeeds Eric de Macker, who has reached the end of his second and final term as a member of the Supervisory Board.
Supervisory Board chairman Marjanne Sint calls Han Busker a valuable addition to the Supervisory Board with his broad experience as a director, knowledge and background in the pension sector - especially in the realization of the new pension agreement - and his connecting power.
Han Busker states: "We are entering an important period with PGGM, in which ensuring an affordable, good and sustainable pension remains central. Recently I have had the opportunity to get to know the organization and talk to many people, which gives me confidence that PGGM is ready for the future."
