Jeroen Hoencamp leaves VodafoneZiggo

18-10-2023 VodafoneZiggo has announced that ceo Jeroen Hoencamp is stepping down from his position as of May 1, 2024.

Jeroen Hoencamp has been CEO of VodafoneZiggo since the merger in 2016. Under his leadership, the integration of Vodafone and Ziggo was successfully completed. Previously, he was CEO of Vodafone UK and Vodafone Ireland. Hoencamp worked a total of 25 years in various executive positions within the telecom sector. Nothing has been announced about a next step but Hoencamp speaks of a new chapter in his life.

Hoencamp calls the last seven years as CEO at VodafoneZiggo “the absolute highlight of his career” and looks back with pride: “VodafoneZiggo is in good shape, with a strong position in the telecom market and I am confident we will continue to bring enjoyment and progress with every connection to our customers and to Dutch society”.

Shareholders Liberty Global and Vodafone Group are starting the process to find a successor. In the meantime, Jeroen Hoencamp will continue to lead VodafoneZiggo as CEO and execute its strategy.
