Peter Wennink new supervisory director VDL Groep

02-09-2024 Peter Wennink has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of VDL Groep as of September 1, 2024.

Peter Wennink is the former CEO of chip machine manufacturer ASML, where he was employed for 25 years. After his departure from ASML in April 2024, he joined the Supervisory Board of Heineken. Wennink is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TU Eindhoven.

Willem van der Leegte, President and CEO of VDL Groep, is pleased with Wennink’s appointment to the Supervisory Board: "With his extensive experience, expertise, and wide network, Peter is a valuable addition to our Supervisory Board."

The Supervisory Board of VDL Groep also includes Louis Deterink (Chairman), Lau Pas, and Marjan van Loon.
