New members General Board ABP

17-05-2023 ABP has appointed two members to the General Board. As of May 12, Rob Becker and Alfred Kool have been appointed as Non-Executive Directors. In so doing, they replace Conchita Mulder-Volkers and Xander den Uyl.

Rob Becker and Alfred Kool have been appointed members of ABP's General Board. They were nominated as Non-Executive Directors on behalf of the pensioners of ABP's Accountability Body. They replace Conchita Mulder-Volkers and Xander den Uyl, who are leaving due to the expiration of the regular terms on the General Board.

Harmen van Wijnen, Chairman of the Executive Board, reports the following about the change in the General Board: "I am glad that with the appointment of Rob Becker and Alfred Kool, suitable successors have been found for the (upcoming) departure of Conchita Mulder-Volkers and Xander den Uyl. Rob Becker has a broad financial economic profile and long-standing experience in multiple supervisory positions in both the public and private sector. Alfred Kool has broad knowledge of the pension sector, where he has accumulated multi-year experience in various roles. With his appointment we strengthen, among other things, the knowledge present on communication in the board, highly relevant in the run-up to the new pension system. I look forward to a pleasant cooperation with both gentlemen."
