Valerie Diele-Braun new CEO IMCD
15-03-2023 IMCD N.V. intends to nominate Valerie Diele-Braun as its new CEO as of January 2024. She will succeed Piet van der Slikke who announced in December 2021 his intention to retire as CEO.
Valerie Diele-Braun has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the specialty chemicals and ingredients sector. She has been a member of the Supervisory Board at IMCD since June 30, 2020 and is currently CEO of CABB Group GmbH. Previously, she held Executive positions at DSM Nutritional Products and Quest International and was a Board member at chemical producer Achroma.

The proposal for appointment will be presented to shareholders for approval at the upcoming General Meeting of Shareholders on April 26. Subject to shareholder approval, Valerie Diele-Braun will step down from the Supervisory Board and join the Executive Board effective October 1, 2023. She will then take over from Piet van der Slikke as CEO as of January 1, 2024.
