New Supervisory Board member APG Group

29-06-2023 APG Group has announced that Constant Korthout has been appointed to APG Group's Supervisory Board. He will hold the position of Chairman of the Audit and Risk committee. Korthout will take office on August 1 and succeeds Claudia Zuiderwijk, whose second term expires this year. His appointment is for a four-year term.

With more than 35 years of experience in the financial sector, Constant Korthout's career is extensive. Until 2022, he was Chief Financial and Risk Officer at asset manager Van Lanschot Kempen. Before that, he held various positions at international asset manager Robeco, including Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors. He is currently interim CFO at NWB Bank and holds supervisory positions at Knab, ANWB and Dijklander Hospital.

Korthout holds a degree in Finance and Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has worked at ABN Bank (a predecessor of ABN AMRO) and KPMG. He has attended various courses during his career, including at the IMD in Lausanne, Nyenrode Business University and INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

Effective August 1, 2023, the Supervisory Board of APG Group will be composed as follows: Peter Bommel (Chairman), Constant Korthout, José Meijer, Sarah Russell and Dick van Well.
