Ron Teerlink New Supervisory Board Member NS

30-03-2023 Effective April 1, Ron Teerlink (1961) will be appointed to the Supervisory Board of NS by the Ministry of Finance. His appointment is for a period of four years, with the possibility of renewal.

Teerlink has extensive experience as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stichting VU and as a member of the Supervisory Board of JustEatTakeaway.com NV. He previously worked at ABN AMRO Bank as a member of the Executive Board and at Rabobank as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Ron Teerlink will fill the vacancy that arose after the departure of Gerard van de Aast, who retired from NS after nine years as a Supervisory Board member, six of which as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Ron Teerlink will assume the role of Chairman of the Risk and Audit Committee within the Supervisory Board, while Herman Dijkhuizen will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board from July 1.
