ICT Director Arjen Boersma leaves ProRail
04-09-2025 Arjen Boersma will step down as ICT Director at ProRail, as of December 1, 2025. He has worked for the company for eighteen years.
Arjen Boersma on his departure: “I have had the privilege of doing wonderful things for the railway, together with both internal and external colleagues. Among other things, we developed a vision for digitalization and established a stable ICT landscape that keeps train traffic in the Netherlands running 24/7. But now it is time for me to take the next step in my career and hand over this role.”
CFO Mirjam van Velthuizen expressed her appreciation for his work: “I am grateful to him for the solid foundation he leaves behind. Our ICT organization may well be the most complex in the Netherlands, and it enables passengers and freight operators to travel from A to B every day.”
ProRail has already started the process of finding a successor.
