Ben Noteboom new Supervisory Chair AkzoNobel
07-12-2022 Akzonobel nominates Ben Noteboom as a new member of the Supervisory Board, with the intention of appointing him as Chairman.
Ben Noteboom will be nominated as a member of the Supervisory Board during the annual general meeting of shareholders in April 2023. The intention is to appoint Noteboom as Chairman to succeed Nils Andersen, who will step down as both Chairman and member of the Supervisory Board. This is in connection with Andersen's intended appointment as Chairman of ASML's Supervisory Board.
Ben Noteboom is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vopak and a member of the Supervisory Board of Aegon. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cancer Center Amsterdam and was employed at Randstad, including CEO between 2003 and 2014. Earlier this week, it was announced that he will also be nominated as a new Supervisory Director of KPN in April 2023.

The appointment is subject to shareholder approval and will be added as such to the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders to be held in April 2023.
