Changes in Avantium's Management Board
27-03-2025 Avantium has announced changes to its Management Board.
Boudewijn van Schaïk will step down from his role as CFO and member of the Management Board as of May 9, 2025, to pursue his career elsewhere. Bert Cornelese will assume the role of interim CFO as of April 1, 2025, until a permanent CFO is appointed. Cornelese previously served as CFO at Ten Cate, Continental Bakeries, and interim CFO at Hunkemöller.
Bram Hoffer has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) with immediate effect. Since December 2024, he has been serving as a consultant at Avantium. Prior to this, he was Chief Technology Officer at Ioniqa Technologies and spent over 20 years at BASF, where he held various roles, including site management, CAPEX project management, operational excellence, engineering, and production.
Finally, Annelore van Thiel will join Avantium as Director of Human Resources on May 1, 2025. Since 2020, she has been Director of People & Organisation at Ampelmann. Before that, she held various positions at Ampelmann and Randstad Netherlands.
Edwin Moses, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Avantium, commented on the changes to the Management Board: ‘With their expertise, Bram Hoffer, Annelore van Thiel, and Bert Cornelese will contribute significantly to help the Company execute on its strategic, operational and financing priorities.
