Danny Benima leaves Stedin Group
28-11-2024 Stedin Group has announced that Danny Benima will step down as CFO on January 1, 2025.
Benima has served as CFO on Stedin Group’s Executive Board for the past six years. In the new year, he will take on the role of CFO at engineering firm Movares.
Benima will remain in his position at Stedin Group until the end of 2024. From January 1, 2025, Eelco de Boer will temporarily assume the role of CFO until the Supervisory Board appoints a suitable successor.
Doede Vierstra, Chair of the Supervisory Board, commented on Benima's departure: ‘Danny has expertly managed Stedin’s long-term financing process. He significantly improved the financial position of Stedin, with contributions such as €200 million from existing shareholders in 2021, the Dutch government joining as a shareholder with €500 million, and new shareholders including the provinces of Utrecht and Zeeland. The Supervisory Board is deeply grateful for his contributions.’
