17-05-2023 On May 17, ABN Amro announced the intended appointment of Femke de Vries as a member of the Supervisory Board on June 29, 2023.

The appointment of Femke de Vries as a new member of the Supervisory Board will take place during the Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders on June 29, 2023. The appointment is subject to approval by the European Central Bank.

Tom de Swaan, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, states: "We are very pleased with the nomination of Femke de Vries as a member of the Supervisory Board. Femke is nominated because of her relevant knowledge and experience in the financial sector, both academic and practical. She also has extensive knowledge of the risk and compliance domain. In recent years she has held various positions at De Nederlandsche Bank and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets, supervising all aspects of financial services. In addition, she has chaired the Climate Commitment initiative of the Dutch financial sector.”
