On October 1, 2024, the Members' Council of Coöperatie VGZ appointed Fleur Rieter as Commissioner. According to VGZ, she has a "highly solid background in the pension and insurance sector."

Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Ron Icke, warmly welcomes Fleur Rieter as a member of the Supervisory Board: “With Fleur Rieter, we are adding a third highly skilled professional to our board. Her expertise will significantly enhance our supervisory competencies in risk management, and Fleur's strong social orientation ensures a natural connection with the other five members of the Supervisory Board.”

Fleur Rieter states that she looks forward to contributing to the further development of forward-looking supervision, particularly from a risk management perspective. “At present and moving into the future, we are seeing important developments, such as sustainability, digitalization, and data management. Modern times bring new challenges for managing the risks of a health insurer.
