
Fredrik Westin new cfo of AkzoNobel
03-07-2025 AkzoNobel has announced that Fredrik Westin will become the company’s new Chief Financial Officer as of January 1, 2026. He will succeed Maarten de Vries, who is stepping down after serving two four-year terms.
Fredrik Westin brings over 25 years of international experience in the industrial and automotive sectors. He is currently CFO and Executive Vice President at Autoliv. Previously, he held CFO positions at Sandvik and Johnson Controls.
AkzoNobel also intends to appoint Fredrik Westin as a member of the Executive Board. His nomination is subject to shareholder approval.
Maarten de Vries will remain in his role until April 2026 to ensure a smooth handover.
