09-12-2024 CFOs of Vivera, Gasunie, UMC Utrecht, and Rabobank Receive Special Recognition for Leadership in Sustainability and Social Impact
During the 2024 Nationale Conferentie Brede Welvaart (National Conference on Broad Prosperity), the Chief Value Officer of the Year Awards were presented to four CFOs who prioritize impact and sustainability in their leadership. The winners are Josefine Kursten (UMC Utrecht), Boele de Jong (Vivera), Janneke Hermes (Gasunie), and Bas Brouwers (Rabobank).
The honored CFOs stand out for combining financial results with societal value creation. They integrate sustainability into investment decisions and strategies, leveraging sustainability regulations like the CSRD as opportunities rather than obligations. These leaders drive their sectors toward greater social and ecological value.
Jury Chair Hans Reus stated: “The four winners are a source of inspiration for finance professionals aiming to contribute to a sustainable economy.”
