Juvencio Maeztu new CEO of Ingka Group
13-08-2025 Juvencio Maeztu has been appointed as the new CEO of Ingka Group. He succeeds Jesper Brodin, who is stepping down after eight years as CEO and thirty years with IKEA.
Maeztu has worked at IKEA since 2001, holding various positions over the years. He has served as store manager for several IKEA locations and as CEO of IKEA India. He is currently Deputy CEO and CFO of Ingka Group.
Maeztu will officially assume the role of CEO on 5 November 2025. Jesper Brodin will remain active at Ingka Group until the end of February 2026 and will then work, among other roles, as a senior advisor to the IKEA Foundation.
