
Karien van Gennip new Supervisory Board member ASML
07-03-2025 ASML has announced its nomination of Karien van Gennip as a new member of the Supervisory Board.
From 2022 to 2024, Karien van Gennip served as Minister of Social Affairs and Employment in the Rutte IV cabinet. Prior to that, she was Chair of the Executive Board at Coöperatie VGZ and CEO of ING France. According to ASML, she brings extensive leadership experience in professional services, financial services, and public policy. Van Gennip's appointment will be discussed during the General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23.

During the General Meeting of Shareholders, Annet Aris will step down from the Supervisory Board. She has been a member since 2015 and is being recognized for her valuable contributions, particularly as Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board and as a member of the Remuneration, Selection & Nomination, and Technology Committees.
Following Aris' departure, Teri Kelly will assume the role of Vice Chair. Additionally, during the General Meeting of Shareholders, Birgit Conix will be nominated for reappointment for a four-year term.
