Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen Supervisory Director at Siemens Netherlands

02-10-2023 Siemens Netherlands has announced the appointment of Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen as a member of its Supervisory Board effective October 1.

Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen spent 33 years with Aon, where she held various international roles. She has also been active in the past as a supervisor at NautaDutilh, Kelp Blue, Stichting Koninklijke Defensiemusea, the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands, Stichting ALS, Gelre Ziekenhuizen and Madurodam, among others.

Siemens Netherlands calls her "pre-eminently someone who can make the connection between business and society. Corporate social responsibility is familiar territory for her. Her legal background will also support her in this.'

Soeteman-Reijnen's appointment comes on the recommendation of the Siemens works council, which was closely involved in the selection process.

Soeteman-Reijnen succeeds Gerdi Verbeet, who will retire from the Supervisory Board at the end of this year after serving two terms.

The Supervisory Board of Siemens Netherlands is therefore excited about the arrival of the newest supervisory director. Christian Kaeser, Chairman: 'The broad outside perspective that experienced colleagues like Gerdi Verbeet and Marguerite Soetemann-Reijnen bring contributes to ensuring that Siemens Netherlands can continue to be a leading player for our stakeholders!'
