Pieter Bootsma new CEO of Royal FloraHolland
21-11-2024 Royal FloraHolland (RFH) has announced that Pieter Bootsma will take on the role of CEO as of January 1, 2025. He will succeed Steven van Schilfgaarde, who has decided to step down from his position at the end of this year.
Steven van Schilfgaarde has been a member of the Management Board since May 2016 and has served as CEO since January 2018. Pieter Bootsma is currently Chief Value Officer and a member of the Management Board at RFH.
Evert van Helvoort, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, on Van Schilfgaarde's departure: ‘Steven has achieved many concrete milestones with a clear vision, including the digital platform Floriday, a new approach to the logistics platform, and the transition to the Members’ Council. Thanks to him, RFH is now well-positioned for success. As Supervisory Board, we are pleased to have a well-prepared successor who knows the sector and the cooperative very well.’
As of January 1, the Management Board of RFH will consist of Pieter Bootsma (CEO) and David van Mechelen (CFO).
