Susan Lenderink departs as CFO at Ajax
16-09-2024 Ajax has announced that Chief Financial Officer Susan Lenderink has decided to leave the organization. In consultation with the Supervisory Board, she will remain in her position until March 1, 2025, at the latest.
Lenderink joined Ajax as CFO on July 1, 2019, and was appointed statutory director of AFC Ajax NV on November 15, 2019. Her contract was originally set to run until July 2026.
Michael van Praag, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed regret over Lenderink's departure: ‘We tried to persuade her to reconsider. Of course, we respect her decision, and we can conclude that she has contributed significantly to Ajax over the past five and a half years. In addition to her financial responsibilities, she played a key role in further professionalizing the organization.’
Ajax will now begin the search for a suitable successor. Lenderink will assist in training her replacement.
