Wilbert Ouburg new CRO NN Group
15-08-2024 NN Group has announced that Wilbert Ouburg will be appointed as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and member of the Management Board of NN Group, effective October 1.
Ouburg has a background in risk management and has gained experience in the insurance sector and financial markets. He joined NN Group in 2017 as Head of Risk Models and has been the CRO of Nationale-Nederlanden Life & Pensions since 2021. Prior to his time at NN Group, he spent six years in various expert and management roles at Delta Lloyd.
Ouburg will succeed Bernhard Kaufmann, who will leave NN Group on September 30 to join the insurer Helvetia Group. Peter Brewee, currently the CRO of Nationale-Nederlanden Schade & Inkomen, will succeed Ouburg and becomes the new CRO of Life & Pensions. The appointments will take place on October 1, 2024, subject to approval by the Dutch Central Bank.
