Two New Supervisory Directors at Corbion
25-09-2024 Corbion has announced the nomination of Abhijit Bhattacharya and Karen-Marie Katholm for appointment as supervisory directors.
Abhijit Bhattacharya has worked at Philips since 1987 in various positions, including as CFO of Philips Lighting from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, he was appointed as CFO of Philips, a position he currently holds but will step down from on October 1, 2024. He also served on the supervisory board of Signify, the previous Philips Lighting, from 2016 to 2018.
Karen-Marie Katholm previously held various positions at Orkla, United Biscuits and Arla Foods, among others. She has been Chief Integrated Supply Chain Officer at Akzo Nobel since 2021.
Effective October 1, 2024, Bhattacharya and Katholm will start as advisors to the supervisory board. Their appointment as Supervisory Board Members will be discussed at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on May 14, 2025.
At this Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mathieu Vrijsen and Dessi Temperley will resign.
