Bruno Bruins Chief Strategy Officer at Renewi
13-03-2024 Renewi has appointed Bruno Bruins as Chief Strategy Officer effective May 1, 2024.
Bruno Bruins is currently a Supervisory Director at Intravacc and Unicef and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alrijne Zorggroep. He served as Minister for Medical Care and Sport from 2017 to 2020. Before accepting his ministerial post, he was, among other things, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Dutch Employee Insurance Agency UWV and member of the Executive Board of Connexxion. He also held positions in local politics in the past.
In his new position he will be responsible both for helping to shape and deliver the Renewi strategy and for leading innovation, sustainability and relations with local, national and European authorities. His experience and network in Brussels and The Hague are described as essential in shaping Renewi's European growth projects.
