Cees 't Hart leaves Carlsberg

07-03-2023 Cees 't Hart, Top Executive at Carlsberg, is leaving later this year. He has decided to retire. His successor is still unknown.

In 2015, Cees 't Hart came to Carlsberg from FrieslandCampina, where he had been in charge since 2008. Currently, Cees 't Hart is President Supervisory Board member at KLM, at the end of March he will join the Supervisory Board of Randstad. Previously, he was a Supervisory Board member at Unilever.

Cees 't Hart faced his biggest challenge at Carlsberg last year when he put the operations in Russia up for sale, after further presence in that country became controversial due to the war in Ukraine. By summer, he plans to have the sale of the brewer's interests in Russia settled. Divesting the Russian operations is also the reason Cees van 't Hart is not leaving immediately, but later this year.
