New members appointed to Ajax Supervisory Board

16-12-2024 Ajax appoints three new members to its Supervisory Board during the General Meeting of shareholders on December 16, 2024

During the general meeting of shareholders on December 16, 2024, Ajax appointed three new members to its Supervisory Board. Hermine Voûte, Dirk Anbeek, and Sirik Goeman will take over the positions previously held by Annette Mosman, Cees van Oevelen, and Leo van Wijk, who formally stepped down.

The appointment of the new board members was supported by the Board of Directors and ratified by the shareholders. Supervisory Board Chairman Michael van Praag emphasized that the terms of appointment were deliberately staggered to ensure a smooth transition. Voûte has been appointed for a two-year term, Goeman for three years, and Anbeek for four years.

It was also announced during the meeting that Carolien Gehrels has been nominated to succeed Michael van Praag as Supervisory Board Chairman. Gehrels' appointment will be discussed during a special shareholders' meeting to be held at a later date.

With the addition of Voûte, Anbeek, and Goeman, Ajax takes a significant step in strengthening the club's oversight and strategic support.
