Jane Hanson new Supervisory Board member of Royal BAM Group

12-09-2024 Royal BAM Group has announced its intention to nominate Jane Hanson as a member of the Supervisory Board at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on November 6, 2024.

Jane Hanson is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years of experience as a Non-Executive Director at various organizations, including international publicly listed companies, public sector bodies, and charitable organizations. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at HM Treasury, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Welsh Water, Chair of the Audit Committee at the UK's Civil Aviation Authority and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee at the John Lewis Partnership.

Hanson's nomination is supported by BAM's Central Works Council and is related to the departure of Supervisory Board member Gosse Boon. He will step down in May 2025 after completing his second four-year term. To ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities, the Supervisory Board will temporarily consist of seven members.

Henk Rottinghuis, Chair of the Supervisory Board, is pleased with Jane Hanson’s appointment: ‘She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over thirty years of experience in financial services. She brings a wealth of business and leadership expertise, both in general management and financial governance. We look forward to working with her following her appointment by the General Meeting.’
