New members of Philips' Executive Committee

09-01-2025 Jie Xue has been appointed Chief Business Leader of Precision Diagnosis and Özlem Fidanci as Chief of International Region at Royal Philips, effective January 1, 2025. Both have also joined the company’s Executive Committee.

Jie Xue worked at GE Healthcare for over 25 years, where she most recently held the role of CEO of Global Magnetic Resonance Imaging. In her new role at Philips, she will be responsible for the Precision Diagnosis business, which has been temporarily led by Bert van Meurs. He will continue to lead Philips' Image Guided Therapy business. Xue and Van Meurs will jointly be responsible for the Diagnosis & Treatment segment.

Özlem Fidanci comes from Versuni, where she was Chief Commercial Officer. Previously, she worked for 22 years at Philips, holding various roles, including Health Systems Leader and Market Leader for the Middle East & Türkiye. Fidanci succeeds Edwin Paalvast, who has decided to retire after five years at Philips.
