Changes in Eneco's executive board

12-01-2026 Eneco has announced that Karen de Lathouder will be leaving the company.

Karen de Lathouder has been Chief Operating Officer Assets at Eneco since 2023. In consultation with the Supervisory Board, it has been jointly decided that she will step down from her position in February 2026. De Lathouder's ambition is to take the next step in her career outside Eneco.

Eneco's supervisory board will change the organization of the executive board as of March 1. The position of COO Assets will be discontinued. The portfolios ‘trade and flexibility’ and ‘assets’ will be merged and will fall under the responsibility of a single member of the Executive Board in the role of COO Integrated Energy & Assets (COO IE&A). This position will be filled by Kees Jan Rameau.

Kees Jan Rameau is currently interim CEO, but will rejoin the Executive Board in his new position after the new CEO, Martijn Hagens, takes office on March 1.
