Maarten de Vries new supervisory director Wolters Kluwer

12-03-2026 Wolters Kluwer has announced its intention to nominate Maarten de Vries as a new member of the supervisory board.

Maarten de Vries has been CFO of Akzo Nobel since 2018. Previously, he was CFO of Intertrust and TNT Express. His appointment will be discussed at the annual general meeting of shareholders on May 21, 2026.

De Vries will succeed Jack de Kreij, whose final two-year term expires during the general meeting.

Chair of the Supervisory Board Ann Ziegler commented: “We are excited to nominate Maarten de Vries for appointment to the Supervisory Board. His extensive international management experience and his financial expertise will be of indispensable value. I also like to thank Jack de Kreij for his great dedication and contributions as member and Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee.”
