Serena Fioravanti nominated as cro ABN AMRO

07-08-2024 ABN AMRO intends to appoint Serena Fioravanti as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) as from the first of October. As ABN AMRO’s CRO, Serena will be responsible for risk management and compliance.

Serena Fioravanti is a Swiss and Italian citizen. She has nearly 25 years of experience in the banking sector, specializing in risk management, treasury, liquidity risk management, corporate finance, project management and audit. During the past seventeen years, she has held various roles in finance and risk management at Credit Suisse Group and served as Chief Risk Officer on the executive board of Credit Suisse Switzerland AG for almost four years.

The Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO intends to appoint Serena Fioravanti CRO and member of the Executive Board as from the first of October for a period of four years, ending at the close of the Annual General Meeting in 2029. The appointment requires formal approval from the European Central Bank (ECB). Before this happens, ABN AMRO will hold an extraordinary general meeting to introduce Serena Fioravanti to the shareholders.
