Trudy Onland new CEO of Stedin Group
17-01-2025 Stedin Group has announced that Trudy Onland will become the new CEO, effective May 1, 2025.
Since 2021, Trudy Onland has been responsible for operational matters as COO within the Executive Board of Stedin. She is also the Vice-chair of the Supervisory Board of Gelderse Vallei hospital. Previously, she held various technical management and executive roles at NS. She started her career in the assurance practice at KPMG.
Onland will succeed Koen Bogers, who will leave the company as of May 1. On the same date, the current Chief Transition Officer, David Peters, will also leave Stedin to continue his career at Batenburg Techniek.
Doede Vierstra, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stedin, on the appointment of Onland: ‘With the achievement of important milestones, a new phase begins for Stedin, where fulfilling our societal role remains central. This phase calls for new leadership. We are pleased that Stedin will have a CEO from within the organization who will shape this new phase starting in May.’
With the appointment of Onland and the departure of Peters, the Supervisory Board of Stedin will begin the search for suitable successors for the positions of COO and CTO.
