Charlotte Hanneman new CFO of Philips
28-02-2024 Philips has announced that Charlotte Hanneman is being nominated as the new CFO.
Hanneman has more than twenty years of experience in the MedTech and pharmaceutical industries. Since 2014, Hanneman has been working at Stryker, where she serves as controller and head of financial planning and analysis. Previously, she held several management positions at VION Food Group and Merck Sharp & Dohme. On June 1, Hanneman will join Philips as a member of the Executive committee.
Her appointment will be discussed during the general meeting of shareholders on May 7, 2024. On June 1, Hanneman will already join Philips as a member of the executive committee. Then, on October 1, she will be appointed as CFO. She succeeds Abhijit Bhattacharya, who has been CFO of Philips since 2015 and is retiring.

CEO Roy Jakobs thanks Bhattacharya for his significant contribution to Philips' transformation. “His dedication and leadership have made a major impact throughout his long 37-year career in the company. In the future, I will miss him for his character and the insight he brought to the boardroom, however, he will remain our CFO until the end of September, ensuring a smooth transition. On behalf of Philips’ Executive Committee, I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
