Herman Dijkhuizen joins Supervisory Board Tata Steel Nederland

02-09-2024 Tata Steel Nederland (TSN) has announced that Herman Dijkhuizen will join its Supervisory Board as of 1 September 2024.

Dijkhuizen has held various board member positions throughout his career. He has served as CFO at NIBC and has been a member of the Supervisory Boards of VUmc Hospital, UNICEF, VU Amsterdam, and WWF-Netherlands. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at NS and a member of the Supervisory Board at KPN.

The appointment of Dijkhuizen has been made upon the recommendation by the Central Works Council (COR) of Tata Steel Nederland. He succeeds Marius Jonkhart, who has been a member and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 1 January 2006 and Chairman of the Audit Committee since its establishment. As member of the Supervisory Board, Herman Dijkhuizen will become the new Chairman of the Audit Committee.
