Jeroen van den Oetelaar appointed as new Chief Engineer of DAF Trucks
01-05-2024 DAF Trucks has announced that Jeroen van den Oetelaar is the new Chief Engineer of DAF Trucks. With this appointment, Van den Oetelaar will also joins DAF Trucks' Board of Management.
Van den Oetelaar joined DAF Trucks in 2011 and has held several positions within the company, including in program management, product development, and operations. Currently, he serves as Assistant Chief Engineer Vehicle Engineering at the company. Van den Oetelaar has previously worked at TMC Group as a Project Manager and at Van Eck Group as a Mechanical Engineer.
Van den Oetelaar will take over the position from Patrick Dean starting June 1, who will be promoted and joins parent company PACCAR as Director PACCAR Electronics. In his new role, Van den Oetelaar will report to Harald Seidel, President and CEO of DAF Trucks.
